Registration is Open for the 2012 EcoSys User Conference

Registration is officially open for our biggest event of the year: our EcoSys User Conference. This year, the event will take place from September 23 – 25 at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Our expanded 2012 program features two Mini-Tracks and an optional second day Application Workshop. Through the conference, you’ll discover how EcoSys EPC is used by other organizations, best practice approaches to project controls and portfolio management, and new ways that EPC can help achieve greater efficiency, visibility and cost performance.

We welcome current EcoSys EPC users, as well as encourage prospective customers and all professionals involved with project controls, project or program management, and capital planning to join us.

This year’s conference features an expanded agenda with more options for attendees, including two Mini-Tracks. The “Case Studies” track will be presented by current EcoSys EPC customers and discuss real-world implementations, while the “Solutions Showcase” track will focus on showcasing specific solutions available within EPC.

Stay for the optional Day 2 Application Workshop which will take an in-depth look at the principles, functionality, and approaches that can enhance the way you use EPC within your organization.

To register, book your hotel and for more information on the conference, please visit:http://www.ecosys.net/userconference. We look forward to seeing you in September!

Hello, World (of Project Cost Management)

Hi, there!  Welcome to our new blog.  We’re excited to lend our voice to issues that have become ever more relevant during these uncertain economic times – the need for better visibility and transparency into projects, programs and portfolios across organizations.  Businesses and governments alike have put greater emphasis than ever on making sure funds are being spent on projects that support organizational strategies, while implementing the necessary controls to deliver project success.

In the days and months ahead, we will be sharing our perspectives on a broad range of topics relating to the project controls arena – everything from earned value management and measuring of progress to perspectives on how enterprise software can be used to help drive organizational success.  Of course, we’ll jump in with some specific updates on developments with EcoSys (the company), our flagship software – EcoSys EPC (Enterprise Planning & Controls), and noteworthy news and events.

At the same time we look forward to hearing your feedback and conversing on the topics that are shaping our collective world.  We welcome a good dialog – and once again, we welcome you!
