AACE San Francisco Western Winter Workshop
February 26, 2010
On February 26, 2010, The Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) is hosting an event for project controls specialists, planners and schedulers, cost managers, estimators and bidders, project managers, risk managers, and professional engineers working in the cost and management field in Monterey, CA.
Chris Bergerud, Co-Founder and Executive Vice President at EcoSys, will summarize steps that public transportation agencies at the local, state, and federal level are taking to integrate their Capital Planning processes with Project Controls. Chris will demonstrate how agencies have succeeded at integrating long range planning and fiscal year budgeting processes with the scheduling, budgeting and project controls processes driven by the Engineering and Program Controls organizations. The outcome is a single end-to-end process across multiple agency organizations that manages funds, budgets, forecasts, obligations, commitments, performance and earned value--resulting in a secure enterprise database that provides transparency for internal and external stakeholders into long-term and near-term plans and performance.
