AACE Southern California Spring Symposium
March 12, 2010
On March 12, 2010, The Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) Southern California Sector is hosting its 2010 Spring Symposium in Palm Springs, CA. EcoSys will be a symposium speaker, discussing best practices in project cost management.
Chris Bergerud, Co-Founder and Executive Vice President at EcoSys, will summarize steps that public transportation agencies at the local, state, and federal level are taking to integrate their Capital Planning processes with Project Controls. Chris will demonstrate how agencies have succeeded at integrating long range planning and fiscal year budgeting processes with the scheduling, budgeting and project controls processes driven by the Engineering and Program Controls organizations. The outcome is a single end-to-end process across multiple agency organizations that manages funds, budgets, forecasts, obligations, commitments, performance and earned value--resulting in a secure enterprise database that provides transparency for internal and external stakeholders into long-term and near-term plans and performance.
