EcoSys Hires New Public Sector Practice Director

EcoSys announces Art Kahn as the new Public Sector Practices Director, a dynamic addition to the business development team.
EcoSys has been gaining momentum in the public sector by implementing our next generation project cost management software at client sites such as LADWP (Los Angeles Department of Water and Power), NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration), DoD (U.S. Department of Defense) and the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). "Art's 25 years of expertise in implementing project cost management, capital planning and program controls processes and technology solutions is an excellent fit for addressing the needs of our customers," states Christen Bergerud, EcoSys Executive VP.
Art has published several articles on Capital Program Management including the Introduction of Geospatial Capital Program Management (GCPM) and Modeling as Key Components of Strategic and Capital Planning for the Public Sector. At the State and Local levels, Art authored and executed economic development programs in support of various regions as part of their overall strategic and comprehensive planning efforts. He also led the Business Process Management Team for both the City and County of San Francisco and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) in defining their Capital Program Management Best Practices.
At the federal level, Art was one of the architects of the Business Modernization Program for the Department of Defense, providing Business Process Management and Re-Engineering consulting services.
