EcoSys EPC Planning & Cost Controls Software Delivers Project Cost Management Data Integration to Customers Through Interoperability with SAP SolutionsEcoSys, an industry leader in planning and cost controls software, today announced that EcoSys EPC (Enterprise Planning & Controls) Version 5 has achieved certified integration with SAP® applications. EcoSys EPC, the next-generation, web-based software solution for budgeting, planning and project cost management, has been proven to integrate with SAP solutions, providing robust bi-directional data transfer. Companies that use EcoSys EPC together with SAP solutions can more easily manage projects, programs and capital spending.
The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that EcoSys EPC Version 5 integrates with the SAP ERP 6.0 application to exchange critical data with instances of SAP Business Suite software. Integration is achieved through the EcoSys ERP Adaptor, an optional plug-in module that is flexible and scalable in how it delivers connectivity to SAP solutions.
“We are delighted to announce the SAP certification of EcoSys EPC Version 5,” said Noah Parker, chief technology officer at EcoSys. “This achievement further underscores EPC’s ability to best meet the individual business needs of our customers. We can create a single data-analysis solution with unmatched corporate fit through our ability to tailor terminology, spreadsheets and dashboards to specific client requirements while integrating with their existing data sources.”
As a result of the certified integration, when using EcoSys EPC Version 5 with SAP solutions, customers can use their SAP application as their main back-end business application with two-way sharing of cost and resource data between both platforms. In turn, EcoSys EPC automates reporting and standardizes business processes to deliver best practices for full lifecycle project cost management in an integrated, easy-to-use web application. Project-driven organizations use EcoSys EPC for capital planning, budgeting and forecasting, and comprehensive management of funds, costs, resources and earned value.
EcoSys EPC leverages existing investments by providing integration with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and general ledger software (e.g., from vendors including SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, and many more) and project planning software (e.g., Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Project). Possessing a rare degree of configurability, EcoSys EPC easily adapts to existing work processes, fostering user adoption and immediately boosting efficiency, accuracy and visibility.
EcoSys EPC provides extensive performance reporting through standard and customizable reports, dashboards, historical snapshots, variance and trend reporting, scenario analysis and earned value management (EVM).
