Hexagon Increases EcoSys™ Enterprise Project Performance Software R&D Investment by 50%

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division announced today a 50% increase in investment toward research and development to enhance their Enterprise Project Performance (EPP) solution, EcoSys. Fueled by EcoSys’ continued popularity within the marketplace and its central role within Hexagon’s core initiative, the Smart Digital Reality™, Hexagon made a further commitment to invest in the software. As a result, the EcoSys team began resource hiring in June 2022 to support the hiring goal. This goal is expected to be completed by the end of 2022. The increased efforts to enhance EcoSys capabilities will foster many new empowering capabilities for customers, including:
- Improvements to the UI/UX
- New and improved mobile application and functions
- Risk and Contingency Management
- Asset Investment Planning
- Additional out-of-the-box integrations between EcoSys Connect and leading industry solutions that support project performance.

EcoSys & the Smart Digital Reality
EcoSys also acts as a pillar of Hexagon’s core initiative, the Smart Digital Reality. The Smart Digital Reality will provide a unified, role-based, real-time view of the physical and digital realities across an enterprise’s project and asset portfolios. EcoSys greatly contributes to the project planning and execution process areas of the initiative. It further assists in enabling the key design and maintenance process areas, most notably in leveraging EcoSys’ digital progress and asset investment planning capabilities.
