The fourth-largest airport system in the United States has chosen EcoSys EPC as its software solution for Capital Program Planning and Funding and Project Cost Management and Reporting.
EcoSys, developer of advanced project and portfolio cost controls solutions, announced that Houston Airport System (HAS) has chosen EcoSys Enterprise Planning and Controls (EcoSys EPC) software to serve as its Capital Program Planning and Capital Program Management solution.
HAS, operated by the City of Houston Department of Aviation, is the fourth-largest airport system in the United States and the sixth largest in the world. It has contracted with the Houston Airports Program Management Team (HAPMT), a joint venture of AECOM, the Louis Berger Group, Bradlink, and Omega Engineers, to provide program management for the renovation and expansion of the three airports in the Houston Airport System: George Bush International Airport/Houston (IAH), William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), and Ellington Field (EFD). HAPMT and HAS selected EcoSys EPC after an in-depth product selection and evaluation process.

EPC’s role in the HAS Project Management system is to provide capabilities for capital program planning and funding, contract and project setup, grant management, design and construction management including change management, project cost management and reporting, invoicing, document management, and workflow and forms management. EcoSys EPC will act as the principal Program Management dashboard and reporting solution and will integrate SAP® and Oracle® Primavera P6. EPC will support stakeholders across HAS including the Planning, Design, and Construction Division, Finance, and the IT Capital Projects PMO Office.
