Federally funded research & development center to implement enterprise performance management software solution
EcoSys, provider of best-in-class enterprise planning and cost controls software, today announced that its web-based project controls solution, EcoSys EPC (Enterprise Planning & Controls) has been selected by Sandia National Laboratories. EcoSys EPC provides Sandia National Laboratories with an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) that is scalable and flexible, aimed at supporting the most robust programs at the company.
Sandia National Laboratories will use EcoSys EPC as the standard Earned Value Management System across its programs including those with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and the Department of Defense (DoD). EcoSys EPC will first be used to provide reporting compliant with ANSI 748-B, Earned Value Management, where mandated. Then, EcoSys EPC will help to apply earned value management as a best practice to other Sandia projects and programs.
Christen Bergerud, Executive VP at EcoSys, commented, “Through EcoSys EPC, we’re excited to help Sandia National Laboratories implement the standardization of processes necessary to ensure ANSI 748 compliance, but also provide the flexibility to support the diverse earned value and reporting needs across different programs within Sandia.”
EcoSys EPC is a web-based solution designed to deliver best practices for project cost management, project portfolio management, capital program management, budgeting and forecasting, funds management, resource planning, estimating, and earned value management.
